Other AbstractA computational model of digital cameras’s resolution is proposed on the basis of main characters of optics and detector. The input of the model is main imaging parameters, and the output is limiting resolution. Two physical experiments are deigned by USAF1951 and ISO12233 standard respectively. Limiting resolution of diffraction-limited field integration digital camera is tested under laboratory environment. The errors of experimental results and theoretical result are less than 10%. The theoretical model can predict the resolution of digital camera accurately.
