Other AbstractPolarization imaging is an advanced technology with increasing applications and it has attracted wide attention in recent years. In this paper, theories, characteristics, applications and the research status of polarization imaging are introduced. The implementation of several common methods and their advantages and disadvantages are also explored. Finally, the key technologies of division of focal plane polarimeters which is the current mainstream method of polarization imaging are analyzed.
