摘要This paper analyses the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical device, according to the EMC test results. It is demonstrated that the auxiliary equipment (AE) weakens the EMC of the IVD device. And the electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise is conducted through the data cables connecting the IVD device to the AE. Furthermore, this paper proposes a method to enhance the EMC of IVD device by using the ferrite magnetic rings. Finally, the test results show that the cable must be looped around the rings in proper turns, for an excellent effect on improving the EMC.
