Other AbstractFilthy of insulators is the root cause of flashover accidents in substation facilities,whether the insulator is clean or not is directly related to the reliability of the power supply. The substation charged water washing robot has important significance in ensuring the normal production and safe operation of the substation. This paper introduces the development status of substation charged water washing technology and related equipment,the research proposes a new kind of tracked leg arm composite substation charged water washing robot,expounds the basic process of robot performing substation charged water washing operation,and looks forward to this kind of the future development trend of robots.
