Abstract检测点与平面多边形相互位置关系的射线法是一种经典的计算几何算法,但对于存在横切边以及射线通过多边形顶点的情形的处理比较复杂,而且当点位于多边形上时检测结果不稳定。本文提出了一种改进的射线法,具有明确的几何意义, 能够统一处理各种情形,检测结果快速准确。
Other AbstractThe 2D point-in-polygon test is a fundamental problem in geometry,and of importance in various applications such as geographical information systems,pattern recognition,medical image process,scientif- ic visualization,computer aided design/manufacturing,etc.Counting ray crossing algorithm is one of the classical computer geometry algorithms for point inclusion test.But it may lead to some difficulty when the ray happens to cross some edges or vertex of the polygon and can't work properly when the point just lies on one of the edges of the polygon.A improved method based on the classical counting ray algorithm is pro- posed in this paper,capable of handling simple polygons in arbitrary shapes,possibly with holes.Compared with other similar improved methods,the new one has explicit geometric meaning in its data process.
