Xisheng FENG

Biography

   Xisheng FENG, an automatic control expert on underwater robots, graduated from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 1965. He is now a research fellow of the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
      FENG was one of the researchers in underwater vehicles, he used to be the chief of electrical control systems of the national first cabled remote control underwater vehicle "Seaman No. 1", the chief designer of the national first uncabled self-control underwater vehicle "the Explorer". He has published many valued research articles and been awarded many national-level prizes. FENG was elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999.
